Pontiac Trans Am

The news say that off recently a new Pontiac Trans Am is going to be released. This is a big news for all sports car enthusiasts everywhere as this is perhaps one of the most popular vehicles ever produced. The US market is perhaps its highest grossing area and it will certainly excite much of the fans of this vehicle upon its release. The car is going to be slightly modified as a new updated 2015 version. It is also going to come in two different trims, the 2015 Pontiac Trans Am trim and the Firebird trim respectively. The vehicle has a very sporty look which is the characteristic of every Pontiac vehicle which is going to be carried over as well. An updated exterior will also combine the newly formed interior for the vehicle which will be a great addition for the vehicle. The release date is expected around July of this year as it is going to be released for the general public, you can read some more about this here: http://newcarsreleasedates.com/2015-pontiac-trans-am-price/ .

There have been a number of changes which the newly formed car will feature. The designers are making this one of the best Pontiac Trans Am-s ever so there are many interesting aesthetic changes and styling upgrades which will make the car great. Perhaps the larges addition to the design of the vehicle is the redesign of the front fascia. But this is not all which has went through a change, the front bumper has been made a bit rounder and the shape has been actually changed by adding tiny little twits to the sides. Pontiac has been changing some trends with its vehicles, so it is natural that the changes seen in the majority of its vehicles will also be used in the 2015 Trans Am. This mainly refers to the width that has been made between the grill and the headlights. The grille is entirely new while the headlights include LED light technology. The aesthetic styling of the vehicle has been concluded with side sills which have been also restyled. Although there are much, the changes are not that great and do not change the car from its core. Pontiac aims to keep things traditional and does not want to stray off too far from the original design. All of this means that the car keeps true to its original brand, but incorporates the changes and steps into a modern era.

Some very useful additions were actually added to the car. This includes changes like air curtains that are placed on the front bumper which by combining them with the front arches pushes the air out of the wheel wells and keep the car stabile. The front apron enables the move of air all around the vehicle and does not allow the car to produce down force. The additional stability component is the lip spoiler at the back. Combined with the mentioned front features it firmly stabilizes the car and keeps it firmly set to the ground.

To mentioned something about the interior, which looks much more comfortable and luxurious, but not in a big fancy way. The most noticeable are the double bucket sport style seats which were mated and with the leather upholsteries they look quite impressive. It does not only looks great but feels great, as the characteristic of these seats is to provide additional comfort and not just a great new look for the Pontiac Trans Am. Besides the leather found on the seats, similar materials can be found on the steering wheel and with the rounded instruments and new doors sills, compete the look of the popular Trans Am.

As we said, the vehicle is available in its Pontiac Trans Am trim and Firebird trim. The former, or rather the basic trim, includes a 3.7-liter V6 engine that cab achieve a power of 305 hp/280 lb-ft , while the latter mentioned trim is good enough for 420 hp/390 lb-ft of torque which is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 engine. But if we were to add the supercharged version, we also get a great power boos which will enable the Trans Am to achieve a 631 lb-ft of torque and 662 horse power. Also consider the numerous gearbox options which come with the newest vehicle as you can freely choose among the 6-speed automatic, the Tremec 6-speed manual or a 6-speed manual.

As mentioned, the new 2015 Pontiac Trans Am is set to hit the stands as of July, so be patient until than for the opportunity to have it. There may be slight variations, so perhaps it might be better to keep an eye out for some changes if they happen. The price on the other hand is already set and decided and the Trans Am is going to be a bit pricier than before as it moves from the previous years’ $22,995 to a whapping $36,095, depending on the trim of course.
